Some of the experiences I had during the twilight zone between waking and sleeping consciousness to these sounds were beyond this earth... On the same level as Aphex Twin's ambient tracks imo. Love love love. Favorite track: The Ice Floes.

ultra-violets a lovely collection of vignettes from a much respected michigan group boasting an impressive & diverse body of work. every song presented here is carefully treated with several layers of tape to sampler then filtered to give the listener an abundance of textural bliss. similar to 'music for films' none of these tracks overstay their welcome & vanish within a few minutes. the thoughtfulness given to the sequence of melodies is also appreciated. Favorite track: A.M..
